We do not collect, receive, or share any personal data about you. There are no accounts, no analytics of ours, and no advertising.
The game itself works entirely offline. The only thing that needs a connection is the optional one-time purchase, which is handled by Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.
The app does include Google’s billing components, which is what makes that purchase possible. Anything they report goes to Google under Google’s Privacy Policy, not to us.
This app is published by Miyuru Kariyawasam. You can reach us at miyurumalaka@gmail.com.
Nothing. We do not collect any personal or sensitive user data. We do not ask you to create an account, and we have no server for anything to be sent to — there is nowhere for your data to go, even if we wanted it.
Specifically, we never receive:
None of this is gathered by our code, and none of it reaches us. We have deliberately not added anything that would collect it — no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network.
The app saves a small amount of data locally, using your device’s standard app storage. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us or any third party:
Player and group names are typed in by you. They are stored only so the app can offer the same group again next time, are held in the app’s private storage, and are never transmitted anywhere. You can delete any saved group from the Player Groups screen.
You can erase the stats at any time from Settings → Reset stats. Uninstalling the app deletes all of the above permanently.
Imposter Premium is a single optional purchase that unlocks extra word packs.
The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see, receive or store your name, card details, billing address, or any other payment information — Google does not share it with us. What Google collects when you buy something is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.
All the app keeps is a yes/no flag on your device recording that the unlock is owned. That flag is what lets your packs keep working offline, and it is deleted when you uninstall.
There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
The app declares two Android permissions, both only because of in-app purchases:
INTERNET — so the purchase can reach Google Play.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to see whether there is a connection at all.
This comes from Google’s billing libraries rather than from our own code.No part of playing the game uses either. Every round works with the connection off.
The app does not request the advertising ID, location, contacts, storage, camera, or microphone.
The app is suitable for general audiences. Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect data from children under 13, or from anyone else. Purchases are handled by Google Play, which applies its own account and parental-approval controls.
The app includes the Google Play Billing Library, which is what makes the optional purchase possible. It is used for nothing else, and it brings with it some standard Google Play components it depends on. Anything those send is handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy — it does not come to us, and we have no access to it.
We add no advertising networks, no analytics, no crash reporting and no social integrations. We do not collect anything about you, so we have nothing about you to share with anyone.
If a future version of the app adds any feature that collects or transmits data, this policy will be updated and the change described here before that version is released.
